I was born in Hastings where I started Primary School at Frimley. Then in 1973 the family moved to Wanstead where I completed my primary school at Flemington and Terrace School. High School years where at Solway College in the Wairarapa, Central Hawkes Bay College Waipukurau and Queen Victoria Maori Girls College Auckland. At the end of school I attended Manakau Technical College where I trained to be a hairdresser. In 1986 I went to work with my Aunty doing nails and beautician work.. In 1987 I traveled to Canada with Tamatea Ariki Nui then went to live in Austrailia.

I lived in Austrailia for 11 years where I got married and had my two children. I traveled back to New Zealand in 1998 to live in Porangahau where I built my home in 2000 and stayed there until 2006. I then moved to Napier where I live today. I went back to school to achieve a diploma in office and administration.

My Interest are gardening, Cafes, and I am deeply involved in my church life at Napier Christian Fellowship.
