Diane Taylor


Diâne Christina Taylor is a grand daughter of Ngati Kuia MacDonald the 3rd child of Mary Christina Sciascia. Born in
Palmerston North in 1951 and educated at the Levin North Primary School, Church College of New Zealand, Hamilton and Horowhenua College Levin.

Currently a full time student trying to learn Te Reo Maori through Te Ataarangi at Paratawhiti in Levin. Also doing an iwi based course involving the history, whakapapa, waiata of Ngati Tukorehe of Kuku, and Ngati Wehiwehi of Manakau called Te Arataki Manu Korero - "Tu te Wehi" under the umbrella of Te Wananga o Aotearoa. Interests include local history and genealogy and has been a member of the Otaki Historical Society and the Levin Branch of genealogists for many and currently the Secretary of the Levin Branch NZSG, also a member of the Adopt an Anzac group in Levin.
